The four-day New York City event offered education, collegial networking and an expo hall full of technologies and solutions.
The collaboration between Datalogic and Digimarc Corporation has lead to prompt retail checkout. The Digimarc Barcode translates existing bar code data across all package surfaces making it easy to scan at checkout. Datalogic’s Magellan 9800i multi-plane imaging scanner can now detect and process Digimarc Barcodes, reducing checkout times for retailers while increasing the average number of items scanned per minute.
Datalogic demonstrated the use of Digimarc technology at NRF. All attendees learned how mobile computers could read Digimarc Barcodes in warehouses to manage inventory and how the PowerScan handheld scanners could be used at checkout or in the warehouse.
